WOUND aims to develop new materials, to be used as patches, along with ultrasonic and electromagnetic external stimuli, to accelerate the healing process of chronic ulcers, a debilitating medical issue that significantly impacts healthcare treatments.

This objective will be achieved through the joint efforts of the Regenerative Technologies Lab research group, which has expertise in the field of biophysical stimulation, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine, and clinical partners including Auxilium Vitae of Volterra and Centro Riabilitazione Motoria of Inail.
